VISA SUBJECTED TO A CONTRACT

The Visa Subjected to a Contract is the permit that is granted to foreign citizens that travel to Chile, in order to fulfill a working contract. This visa will be granted to people within the national territory and with the purpose of living in the country with the same purpose.

It will also be granted a Residency Visa Subject to a Contract to the spouse, parents and children of both or one of them, if they will live at the expense of the main holder of the permit. These beneficiaries in a condition of dependent will not be able to perform paid activities in the country.

This Visa expires, from the moment that the contractual relation ends by any of the parties, after which, the foreigner has 30 days to submit a new residence application, the settlement and the new working contract must be enclosed to this new application.

NOTE: Foreigners from Colombia must submit a Judicial Record Certificate for any application.
